Front End Web Designer/Developer 2
Candidate must have previous State, Federal or other government clients experience
Role/Responsibilities:
- Create, update, and refresh web component and user interface prototypes
- Build HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript in accessible ways for content management systems and enterprise products
- Work cross team across NCDIT Transportation to bring user interface consistency
- Performed training sessions/webinars for NCDOT business customers on created apps/sites/tools
Skills:
- JavaScript and TypeScript proficiency - 5 Years
- Vue.js - 3 Years
- Vite for modern build tooling - 3 Years
- State management with signals or reactive stores -4 Years
- Web performance optimization - 3 Years
- Design systems and component library architecture - 3 Years
- Accessibility (WCAG 2.2+) best practices - 3 Years
- User experience design - 3 Years
- Integration w/systems like SAP, ServiceNow, SharePoint, etc. - 4 Years
- AI-assisted development and workflow automation - 1 Year
- Website Accessibility testing - 4 Years
- Semantic HTML structure and accessibility foundations - 5 years
- Modern CSS (Flexbox, Grid, variables, theming) - 5 Years
