Production Support Specialist

Essential Function

Assist and provide support services to the production process and perform duties associated with plant housekeeping.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean spillage around crushers, elevators, conveyors, work platforms, catwalks, etc.
• Perform general labor and cleanup duties throughout the plant
• May haul fines or waste material to designated locations
• May fill bulk bags and/or load flatbed trucks
• May assist in staging the production process
• May monitor and adjust a crusher for proper gapping
• Responsible for operating plant when Operator is at lunch or during unplanned vacancies
• Responsible for performing product sampling, and reporting out of specification material to Operator
• Responsible for quality of work and the safe operation of all tools/equipment under his/her control
• Responsible for good housekeeping and safety inspection of work area
• May be required to perform other duties as assigned

Core Competencies

Demonstrated competency operating a forklift, bobcat

Ability to operate/learn to operate a 10-wheel dump truck and water truck

Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Previous experience in an industrial environment desired.

Base Hourly Rate: $32.31
