About the Role

We are seeking an Entry-Level CAD Engineering professional to support manufacturing and engineering activities in a hands-on production environment. This opportunity is well suited for a recent Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related graduate who has a solid foundation in manufacturing principles and experience working with CAD tools and engineering drawings .

You will work with engineering and manufacturing teams to support day-to-day production needs, help resolve technical issues, maintain engineering documentation, and contribute to process and product improvements. Experience with tooling, fixtures, or manufacturing transfers is a plus, but candidates with strong fundamentals and a willingness to learn are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities

• Create, review, and update CAD designs and engineering drawings to support manufacturing activities.
• Work with manufacturing teams to understand production requirements and resolve engineering-related issues.
• Apply mechanical engineering and manufacturing principles to day-to-day production challenges.
• Provide technical support for manufacturing processes, assemblies, and production activities.
• Assist with tooling and fixture design or modifications as needed.
• Support engineering documentation, drawing revisions, specifications, and related records.
• Help identify opportunities to improve manufacturing processes, quality, and efficiency.
• Assist with product or process transfers between manufacturing locations.
• Participate in testing, troubleshooting, and implementation of engineering changes.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, quality, and other cross-functional teams.
• Communicate technical information clearly and help ensure designs and documentation meet manufacturing requirements.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Foundational knowledge of:
  • Manufacturing processes
  • Mechanical engineering principles
  • Engineering drawings
  • Product and production processes
• Working knowledge of CAD tools .
• Ability to interpret and understand engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to support manufacturing issues.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work in a cross-functional manufacturing environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, manufacturing personnel, and other stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

• Internship, co-op, academic project, or professional experience supporting manufacturing engineering.
• Experience with tooling or fixture design .
• Exposure to manufacturing process improvement initiatives.
• Experience preparing or maintaining engineering documentation.
• Exposure to product or process transfers between manufacturing sites .
• Familiarity with engineering change processes and drawing revisions.
• Experience working with cross-functional manufacturing or engineering teams.
