Job Description

CDL-A Yard Hostler / Yard Jockey – $29/hr

Location: Kyle, TX

Pay: $29 per hour + overtime

Schedule: Monday–Friday or Monday–Thursday

Shifts Available: Morning and evening shifts
Hours: Minimum 40 hours per week

We are currently hiring experienced CDL-A Yard Hostlers/Yard Jockeys for a busy operation in Kyle, TX. This is a full-time position with consistent hours, overtime opportunities, and benefits available after 30 days.

Responsibilities:

Move and position trailers throughout the yard
Back trailers safely into assigned dock doors
Perform yard checks and organize trailers as needed
Communicate with dispatch, warehouse, and shipping teams
Complete basic equipment inspections
Follow all company and site safety procedures

Requirements:

Valid Class A CDL
At least one year of recent yard hostler/yard jockey experience
Strong backing and trailer-spotting skills
Clean driving record
Must pass a background check and drug screen
Must be registered and eligible through the FMCSA Clearinghouse
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
Must be comfortable working outdoors in varying weather conditions
