Service Response Center Representative

Tampa General Hospital

Overview Service Response Center Representative — (260000EG) Under direct supervision of the Manager, Service Response Center, this position is responsible for answering calls from both internal and external customers and resolving issues within the scope of their duties. Representatives are expected to exhaust all avenues towards one-call resolution. Responsibilities include documenting, communicating, dispatching, and monitoring a wide variety of support services. This role uses Service Tracking Software for Support Service areas such as Plant Operations, Environmental Services, Transport, Pest Control, Linen, and Equipment Cleaning, as well as other areas as assigned. Responding to code calls as outlined by hospital policy and accurately communicating vital information and direction is required. The goal is to provide the best possible service to all customers in a pleasant and courteous manner. Maintain documentation and reporting for all work orders and equipment on which work has been performed. Perform job duties in accordance with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital. Responsibilities Answer calls from internal and external customers and work toward one-call resolution when possible. Document, communicate, dispatch, and monitor a wide variety of support services. Utilize Service Tracking Software for areas such as Plant Operations, Environmental Services, Transport, Pest Control, Linen, and Equipment Cleaning, and other areas as assigned. Respond to code calls as outlined by hospital policy and communicate vital information accurately. Maintain documentation and reporting for all work orders and equipment serviced. Perform duties in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of Tampa General Hospital. Qualifications High School graduate or GED. Previous customer service and telephone experience, preferably in a call center environment. Clear communication and the ability to obtain and disseminate required information accurately. Experience with standard office procedures and software (Word, Windows, Excel). Previous experience in a medical setting is preferred. Bi-lingual skills are a plus.
