Position Summary: The Purchasing Intern will get cross functional exposure within and outside of supply chain and to external suppliers, data analysis and management – converting legacy systems data to new ERP developing and implementing tools for vendor management. They will assist buyers and commodity managers in day-to-day purchasing activities. Responsibilities: C reate, implement, and control new projects around vendor management, including structure and organization of : non-disclosure agreements , code of conduct, risk assessment , risk register and a comprehensive key supplier database. Consolidation of vendors to reduce administrative costs. Day to day support of buyers and managers in reviewing forecasts, placing orders, expediting, issuing releases. Conversion of legacy systems data for new ERP as needed. Skills and Qualifications: Pursuing Degree in Supply Chain or similar field.
