Travel + Leisure Co. recently acquired Yes& Vacations and Spinnaker Resorts, adding 23 resorts in destinations like Maui, Las Vegas and Hilton Head. This role has joined the Travel + Leisure Co. family, and applicants will be applying directly to Travel + Leisure Co.

How You’ll Shine:

The Aquatics/ Activities Assistant Manager is responsible for directly supporting and assisting the Activities Manager for the resort’s activities department. As an assistant manager, this role may be responsible for supervising pool facilities, lifeguards, marina and/or dock operations, aquatic safety patrol, watercraft rental, water and ground transportation, fitness center, recreation equipment rental, tennis operations, recreation programming, arcades, or other aspects of resort recreation. In addition, this person will be required to plan, manage, and execute special events, weddings, banquets, conferences, etc. The Assistant Activities Manager may also supervise third-party vendor contracts that provide resort recreation services or products. This role will assist the Manager with creating, planning and implementing guest activities for the Resort, create and publish advertising material to support the Resort Activities, and assist in establishing related pricing for activities.

• Required Certifications/Qualifications:

  • American Red Cross Certified Lifeguard

  • AED Certification

  • CPR Certification

  • Deep Water Lifeguard Certification

  • Lifeguard Trainer Certification

  • TAM Card

  • Strong communication skills

  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

  • Ability to work in various weather conditions

  • Reliable and flexible availability
