Pediatric LPN - Family Medicine

Location: New York, NY

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: Day 5x8-Hour (07:30 - 17:30)

Job Description: The Pediatric LPN is responsible for providing care in a Family Medicine setting, with a focus on pediatrics. The ideal candidate will work independently in a fast-paced environment, performing essential competencies and collaborating with team members to ensure high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients and performing initial assessments.
• Administering injections and managing immunizations.
• Conducting EKGs, nasopharyngeal swabs, and ear flushes.
• Monitoring vital signs including blood pressure and blood glucose levels.
• Engaging in telephone triage and follow-up calls with patients.
• Assisting in medication reconciliation and specimen labeling.
• Participating in patient health questionnaires and history taking.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1 year of experience in pediatrics or Family Medicine.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• A valid nursing license in New York is required.
• Experience with EPIC charting system is mandatory.
