group, you will support offices globally working from our

Long Beach, CA

Qualifications: Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in urban planning, transportation planning, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, or relevant discipline Minimum of a cumulative 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale As the successful candidate, you will: Apply planning principles to provide efficient, effective, economical, and timely solutions to port planning challenges in multivariable and multidiscipline project environments Conduct road, rail, and marine operations and infrastructure planning efforts in accordance with transportation planning standards, quality objectives, and client needs Collect, review, and analyze a variety of planning and operational data to meet project objectives Prepare reports, technical memos, presentations, schedules, maps, figures, diagrams, and models You bring to the role: Commitment to achieving planning excellence Interest in the maritime industry, including global trade and supply chain trends; ocean carriers, Class I railroads, and trucking companies; and freight infrastructure and operations across a variety of modes, facilities, and commodities Passion for freight transportation planning Experience with ArcGIS is a plus Willingness to travel to various Hatch offices, project, and supplier sites subject to project requirements Previous co-op or internship experience is considered an asset Requirements for all sectors: To live our manifesto. In accordance with legislated pay transparency requirements, the expected salary range for this position is based on current market data and aligned with internal pay structures to ensure consistency and fairness.
