New assembly positions in La Crosse! Seeking 1st shift assemblers. NO weekends and clean environment! Utilize your attention to detail and fine motor skills in this role as a Printed Electronics Assembler! Shift: Monday - Thursday 6AM-3PM, 6AM-10AM Friday Wage: $17 per hour *These are try-before-hire opportunities

What you will do as a Printed Electronics Assembler:

• Sets-up and operates Flex Laminator.
• Applies encapsulant over surface mounted device (SMD) components
• Hand applies individual switch layers, insulating tape, overlays to circuit pack layer and membrane switch to subpanel when required.
• Crimps and applies housings of terminal pins using Manual, Auto or Berg Crimper when needed.
• Follows industry standard electro static discharge (ESD) protocol
• Tests circuit electrical function using a Mistral Keypad Tester
• Packages finished product in a manner to prevent damage in shipping
• Verifies product conformance to customer specification

• Excellent mechanical aptitude and trouble shooting
• Ability to demonstrate fine motor skills necessary for small electrical component placement and assembly.
• Ability to interpret blueprints, switch maps, diagrams and engineering drawings.
• Ability to follow detailed work instructions.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
• Ability to work independently without continued support from others.
• Excellent attention to detail

Physical Demands of the position:

• Ability to continuously stand or walk, occasionally sit.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 40 lbs. to shoulder height, up to 20 lbs. above shoulders, and team lift up to 80 lbs.
• Ability to occasionally push or pull up to 100 lbs.
• Ability to climb ladders or stairs as needed.
• Ability to occasionally climb on to equipment.
• Ability to frequently perform repetitive motions.
• Ability to crawl as needed.
• Ability to continuously stoop, bend, kneel, squat, twist, or pinch/grasp.
• Ability to continuously reach overhead, in front of body, or below waist.
• Ability to have simultaneous use of hand, wrist, and fingers.
• Requires 20/20 corrected vision.
• Requires color vision acuity.
