The TPM will manage the full project lifecycle of large complex innovative programs aimed at improving the efficiency and lowering the cost of Amazon's next-generation Fulfillment Centers. The candidate should drive continuous process improvement and collaborate effectively with cross-functional operational and development teams to solve problems and implement new solutions.Key job responsibilities• Lead the effective and efficient delivery of System and Hardware Product Development programs, working closely with mechanical, electrical, and embedded systems teams • Partner with Deployment Engineering, Manufacturing, Global Support Services, and other key stakeholders to define project goals that improve performance, reduce cost, and reduce installation cycle time • Collaborate cross-functionally to support solution development and integration, including hardware/software integration • Triage, prioritize, and execute against incoming field requests for Hardware Engineering support • Drive consensus on technical decisions and ensure appropriate resources are employed to deliver high-quality results • Lead the partnership between Hardware Engineering, Product Management, and Systems Engineering to develop and decompose comprehensive functional requirements • Identify, assess, track, and mitigate issues and risks at the program level • Create, maintain, and disseminate project information to stakeholders • Drive effective teamwork, communication, and collaboration across multiple groups with competing priorities • Develop and manage project schedules across all HW disciplines including Mechanical, Electrical, Firmware, Safety, Regulatory, and HW Test Engineering• Partner with groups external to Hardware Engineering to successfully deliver on project goalsA day in the lifeAmazon offers a full range of benefits that support you and eligible family members, including domestic partners and their children. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
