Front Desk Concierge

Front Desk ConciergeWe are seeking a Front Desk Concierge who takes pride in delivering exceptional service and creating memorable experiences for our Members and guests. This role is at the heart of our hospitality experience, supporting front office operations, youth events, and ensuring every interaction reflects world-class service.What will be expected of you:Work with the Director of Youth Activities on sleeping room amenity strategy, culture, and servicesAssist Membership throughout their stay (service, travel, area attractions, etc.)Register Members/guests and assign rooms; comply with special requests whenever possibleAssists in pre-registration and blocking of rooms for registrationCheck-in rooms into the Jonas Hotel SystemKnow room location, types of rooms available, and room ratesCoordinate room status updates by notifying housekeeping of all check-outs, late check-outs, early check-ins, special requests, and part-day rooms.Processes member/guest check-ins and outs, manage room keysPosts and files all charges to Members'/guest accountsAnswer the phone within the first three rings and always use proper telephone etiquetteProcesses mail, packages, and messagesRead and initial the pass-on log and bulletin board daily; know of daily activities and meetings taking place in the ClubCount the bank at the beginning and end of every shiftMake sure all petty cash is in the cash register or has been accounted forCoordinate guestroom maintenance work with the Engineering and Maintenance departments if the manager is not availableMust be aware of all safety and emergency procedures and accident prevention policies and proceduresMaintain cleanliness and neatness within the Front Desk areaMake necessary purchases for all events and work with vendors, entertainment companies, etc., to reserve appropriate items.Analyze member data to identify demographic trends of the youth member population.Know and understand coat check operations; fill in when necessary/emergencies (see below)How we determine your qualifications:Minimum of two years of customer service or hospitality experience (front desk/rooms preferred)College degree preferredWorking proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and PublisherA service mindset, attention to detail, and strong communication skillsBenefits:Part-time position - 2 -3 shifts per weekComplimentary meals and parkingHealth, Dental, and Vision Insurance (available to full-time and part-time Team Members)Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)401(k) with employer matchEmployee discounts on Golf, Tennis, Fitness apparel, and moreCongressional Country Club offers competitive benefits focused on total well-being and supporting a healthy balance between work and personal life.Congressional Country Club is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
