Join Pride Health as a Phlebotomist I - Float at Pennsauken, NJ! This is a 13 weeks contract role (with high possibility of extension or conversion) offering a great opportunity for experience to excel in a dynamic environment. Primary Float/ Coverage Area: Delran, Hainesport, Columbus, Burlington, Medford & Mount Laurel, NJ Shift Schedule: Saturday: 7:30 AM–12:30 PM Pay Highlights: $19 - 21/hour (Based on years of experience & education) Mileage Reimbursement: Yes Start Date: ASAP Key Responsibilities: Perform accurate venipuncture and blood specimen collection using straight and butterfly needles. Collect specimens from patients of all ages . Properly explain the venipuncture and specimen collection process to patients in a clear and courteous manner. Update and verify patient information in the appropriate systems. Label, centrifuge, split, freeze, and prepare specimens according to test requirements. Package specimens appropriately for transportation while maintaining specimen integrity. Store specimens according to required temperature and handling protocols. Record maintenance and decontamination activities as required. Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Experience: Minimum 6 months of experience – REQUIRED Strong phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Note: Local candidates within 25-30 miles are eligible. *Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credit.
