About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: PACU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience required License: Valid California License required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS Must-Have: - Charge experience preferred - Patient ratio experience - Charting system experience, preferred Epic Description: Variable start times: 7, 9, 10, or 11 AM. Must be willing to float to other facilities. Day shifts may include call shifts. Willingness to assist with pre-admit phone calls for surgery is required. Experience with ambulatory/outpatient procedures, including cholecystectomy, colon surgery, endoscopic/laparoscopic procedures, and hysterectomy is preferred. Providers will float within their assigned facility and to affiliated hospitals nearby. Refusing to float may result in termination of assignment. Providers may be required to work during major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year. Providers are responsible for their own communication devices necessary for the assignment. Housing options in the area may be limited; it's advisable to explore them in advance. Completion of modules is required, with an average time of 16 hours spent on them. Modules are completed before the start date and annually, with time self-reported and recorded.
