DRC Case Officer (Blount Co.)

Correctional work involving probation-style supervision and monitoring of non-violent felony offenders who have been released from incarceration and assigned to supervision through the Day Reporting Center or Evidence-Based Programming for alcohol and drug treatments. Provide direct supervision of assigned clients through home and office visits and establish needed supportive services. Provide testimony in court, assist with electronic monitoring, collections of fees, and submitting monthly reports. Maintain the documentation necessary to comply with ETHRA and Tennessee Department of Corrections (TDOC) program policies, procedures, and standards. Communicate with local Recovery Courts, judges, District Attorneys, Public Defenders, and other judicial staff. Locate and establish professional relationships with local resource agencies. Conduct assessments determining felony offenders' needs for successful reintegration.
