RN - Emergency Room

Role Overview: The Registered Nurse (RN) provides restorative, patient-centered care in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team, exercising autonomy, authority, and control to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Key Responsibilities Patient Assessment: Conducts thorough holistic assessments, develops individualized care plans, and evaluates patient conditions to address needs effectively. Care & Discharge Planning: Coordinates care, collaborates with the team, and facilitates evaluation, revision, and documentation of the care plan. Teaching & Communication: Provides evidence-based education to patients/support systems, demonstrating effective communication, advocacy, and teamwork. Treatment & Documentation: Performs treatments per policies, accurately documents patient information, and monitors medication responses while educating patients on medication safety. Quality Improvement & Delegation: Participates in quality initiatives, identifies areas for improvement, and delegates tasks appropriately, supervising care provision by team members. Qualifications & Skills: Graduate of an accredited nursing program, licensed or permittee in New York, with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications; additional certifications preferred. Experience in Med/Surg, critical care, or ER is preferred. Demonstrates sound clinical skills, knowledge of standards, and positive communication skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
