Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans focused on activities of daily living, mobility, cognition, and functional independence.
- Deliver direct therapy to residents, tailoring interventions to improve safety, independence, and quality of life within the long-term care setting.
- Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries in accordance with facility policies and payer requirements.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (nursing, PT, speech therapy, social work, and physicians) to coordinate care and optimize resident outcomes.
- Participate in care planning meetings, screenings, and transition/discharge planning as appropriate.

Requirements
- Active Occupational Therapist license in good standing with eligibility to practice in North Dakota.
- Ability to work effectively in a long-term care setting; strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Proficiency in clinical documentation and treatment planning for geriatric populations.
- Willingness to work a daytime schedule and to participate in interdisciplinary rounds.
