Position Summary: The Inside Sales Representativeis responsible for proactively contacting decision-maker(s) on a regular schedule, using promotional material and sales techniques to enhance customer awareness of capabilities for both stock and custom items; quotes and negotiating special pricing, delivery and payment terms, freight considerations, etc.; develops a thorough understanding of customer's business and stays educated and informed through news articles, customer websites, and industry information to identify key events that may warrant action; manages customer contacts with CRM program.### ResponsibilitiesProactively contact decision-makers within companies on a regular schedule to: Introduce and promote stock and custom items Suggest special delivery, stocking, or pricing option Offer additional services such as flex pay warehousing, special packaging, custom, and direct shipments Manage customer contacts within the CRM program Quote and negotiate both stock and custom items, including: Special pricing Delivery/payment terms Freight considerations Utilize appropriate promotional materials and sales techniques to enhance customer awareness of capabilities for stock and custom items Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent; post-high school education preferred 3 years of experience in sales or customer service Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and agreements Strong writing and business correspondence skills Effective presentation and communication skills for interacting with customers and colleagues Basic math skills, including calculating discounts and gross margins We Make it Easy Founded in 1901, MRA is a nonprofit employer association that serves more than 4,000 employers, covering more than one million employees.
