Koala Kare respects work-life balance, and has a strong commitment to employee development.Under direction of Production Supervisor or his/her designee, performs various aspects of assembling baby changing tables, highchairs, and seating products, including sub-assembly, final assembly, parts, bagging, making cartons and packaging.Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Follow all safety rules and regulationsFollow and maintain all aspects of qualityManual and automation assisted assembly of raw materials into finished goods.Meet predetermined production deadlines.Assist inventory control.Maintain a clean and organized work environment.Must be able to function in a team oriented and continuously improving environment.QualificationsTo perform job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily by a predetermined deadline date. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.As a minimum, the Production Operator is required to have a High School diploma or GED equivalent.Production experience preferred.Ability to read and/or interpret documents such as work orders, procedure manuals, operating and maintenance instructions, and safety rules.Ability to comprehend and respond appropriately in English is required: fluency in the English language preferred.Lift, push or pull loads up to 50 pounds.Use of light tools such as, screwdrivers, drills, hammer, rivet guns, air tools, various machines, etc., is required.Basic computer skills.Organized and detail orientedPositive attitude and great work ethicSelf-motivated, strong desire to achieve personal professional growthKoala also provides a variety of competitive health plan benefits and programs to support the health and well-being of you and your family.
