Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (Night Shift)

Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Night Shift (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) | Onsite | Tuesday Start | 4 Weekend Shifts per Month Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care on a Labor & Delivery unit with 10 LDR beds and 2 OB?? rooms, maintaining patient ratios of 2:1 (1:1 for high-risk patients)
• Perform and assist with procedures including Cesarean sections, BTLs, and salpingectomies in an OR circulator capacity
• Continuously monitor fetal status using intermediate fetal monitoring techniques and respond appropriately to changes in patient condition
• Document patient care accurately using CPN (Centricity) and Meditech EMR systems
• Float to postpartum or medical floor as needed (medical floor float in a tech capacity only)
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including bedside RNs, scrub techs, and unit secretaries

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in good standing
• Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience
• Current Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification
• Active ACLS certification
• Active NRP certification
• Active BLS certification
• OR Circulator experience

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Bilingual communication skills
• Scrub tech skills
• C-EFM (Certified Electronic Fetal Monitoring) certification
