About the Role
We are hiring a Technical Program Manager for a leading enterprise organization operating in the retail industry. This role will support a large-scale enterprise data platform migration, with a primary focus on coordinating cybersecurity requirements, technical dependencies, and execution across multiple technology teams.
The Technical Program Manager will work closely with Cybersecurity, Engineering, Architecture, Data and Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, and Product teams to ensure security requirements and technical dependencies are identified, assigned, sequenced, and delivered throughout the migration.
This is a hands-on technical program leadership position requiring strong cybersecurity knowledge, technical fluency, and experience navigating complex enterprise environments. This is not a traditional PMO or status-reporting role. Job Description
As a Technical Program Manager, you will provide end-to-end cybersecurity program coordination for a complex enterprise data platform migration. You will bring structure, visibility, and accountability to work spanning multiple technical teams while proactively identifying dependencies, risks, blockers, and decisions that could impact key migration milestones.
The ideal candidate is a technically fluent program leader who can participate credibly in cybersecurity and engineering discussions, translate technical considerations into actionable program plans, and drive cross-functional teams toward decisions and successful delivery.
Key responsibilities include:

• Drive end-to-end cybersecurity program coordination for an enterprise data platform migration.
• Establish and maintain an integrated view of cybersecurity requirements, dependencies, milestones, ownership, sequencing, risks, and critical-path activities.
• Identify security and technical dependencies early and ensure they have clear owners, delivery dates, and resolution plans.
• Coordinate across Cybersecurity, Architecture, Engineering, Data and Platform Engineering, Infrastructure, Product, and other enterprise teams.
• Facilitate technical discussions to resolve security architecture, integration, dependency, sequencing, and ownership issues.
• Identify gaps, conflicting assumptions, unresolved decisions, and delivery risks before they impact migration milestones.
• Drive decisions and accountability when ownership or dependencies cross organizational boundaries.
• Maintain clear visibility into critical dependencies, blockers, risks, decisions, milestones, and overall program health.
• Provide concise, executive-level reporting focused on outcomes, risks, dependencies, decisions, and required actions.
• Bring structure and accountability to complex, cross-functional initiatives and follow through on critical work through completion.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications:

• 10+ years of Technical Program Management or equivalent technical program leadership experience, preferably within large enterprise environments.
• Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional technology programs involving multiple engineering and cybersecurity teams.
• Strong working knowledge of cybersecurity domains, practices, and controls.
• Experience coordinating security requirements and dependencies across areas such as:
  • Identity and Access Management (IAM)
  • Data security
  • Network security
  • Cloud security
  • Application and platform security
  • Vulnerability management
  • Logging and monitoring
  • Security architecture
• Proven ability to manage complex technical dependencies, integration points, sequencing, critical paths, risks, and blockers across multiple teams.
• Technical fluency sufficient to participate in architecture and engineering discussions, identify dependencies, challenge assumptions, surface gaps, and recognize delivery risks.
• Strong executive communication skills with the ability to clearly communicate program health, critical dependencies, risks, decisions, and required actions.
• Ability to navigate organizational complexity, establish accountability, and drive decisions across teams with different priorities and ownership structures.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise data platform migrations or modernization initiatives.
• Experience working across cybersecurity, engineering, architecture, infrastructure, data, platform, and product organizations.
• Experience operating in a large-scale retail or similarly complex enterprise technology environment.
• Experience working directly with security architects, engineers, technical leaders, and senior executives.
• Ability to translate complex technical and cybersecurity topics into clear program-level risks, dependencies, decisions, and actions.
