Laboratory Analyst
$18 - $22 per hourEurofins Agroscience Services North Carolina
Eurofins Built Environment Testing seeks a Laboratory Technician for a temporary position (August–December) at the Naperville site. The role involves performing microbiological analyses, maintaining lab equipment, and processing samples in a fast-paced environment, with required training in filtering and plating techniques completed within two weeks.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine microbiological procedures and sample analyses
- Maintain, calibrate, and sterilize laboratory equipment
- Isolate and culture bacteria and other microorganisms
- Document data and results according to specified protocols
- Prepare specimens and detailed reports of laboratory findings
Requirements
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field
- Proven laboratory technician experience or transferable work in a lab setting
- Hands-on experience with microbiological techniques and equipment
- Proficiency in bacterial culture preparation and isolation
- Strong analytical and detail-oriented skills
- Professional English proficiency (reading, writing, speaking)
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments
Compensation: $18.00–$22.00 per hour based on experience
