Emergency Room Float Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking a dedicated Emergency Room Float Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dynamic team. This position involves floating between various Emergency Room locations within the region, ensuring that you provide high-quality care across multiple facilities.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide patient-centered care in fast-paced emergency environments.Float to various satellite Emergency Room locations as assigned.Collaborate with a small team, often consisting of only two RNs at satellite locations.Ensure adherence to nursing standards and protocols while maintaining a sterile field during procedures.Participate in required testing, including dysrhythmia exams and simulation labs on the first day of orientation.Schedule and ShiftsFull-time, 12-hour night shifts.Guaranteed 36 hours per week.Mandatory weekend shifts every other weekend and holidays as needed.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of experience in an Emergency Room setting.Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.TNCC certification preferred.Proficient in handling patient care in diverse medical environments.Additional InformationThis role requires a commitment to excellence in patient care, with expected competencies in Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes. Additional training on equipment, policies, and techniques specific to each facility will be provided.Candidates will need to demonstrate their competencies through simulations, with a focus on maintaining sterile fields during procedures.Working ConditionsRatios of 4:1 for patient care.Experience with Cerner EMR.Capability to manage ventilator patients.Lab draws will be performed by ER staff.No floating to other departments beyond the Emergency Rooms.Join our team and make a difference in the lives of patients by delivering exceptional emergency care!Client Details State AZ
