Hotel Director of Operations

Job description: Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to lead our operational strategies and ensure the efficiency of our business processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in operations management, project management, and senior leadership, with a proven ability to drive business development and process improvement initiatives. This role requires strategic planning capabilities and the ability to negotiate effectively to foster partnerships that enhance our operational effectiveness. Responsibilities Develop and implement operational strategies that align with the company’s goals and objectives. Oversee daily operations of Rooms, Enginering, Front Desk, Housekeeping Lead and mentor senior leadership teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Manage project timelines, resources, and budgets to ensure successful completion of initiatives. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices across the organization. Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors, suppliers, and partners to optimize operational performance. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational success and drive accountability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business development efforts and enhance service delivery. Requirements 5 + Years of Hotel Management Experience with 2+ years as a director Experience Full Service Hotels Proven experience in a senior operations management role with demonstrated success in leading teams. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Exceptional leadership abilities with a focus on team development and performance enhancement. Excellent strategic planning skills with a track record of achieving organizational goals. Strong negotiation skills with experience in managing vendor relationships. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
