Registered Nurse - Infusion

Job Description

Job Summary:

Provide specialized infusion nursing care to patients requiring therapy administration. Ensure patient safety, comfort, and adherence to clinical protocols in an acute care environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer infusion therapies, including medications and biotherapies, according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient responses to treatments and document clinical observations accurately.
• Ensure compliance with BLS and ACLS certification requirements at all times.
• Educate patients and families about infusion procedures, potential side effects, and post-treatment care.
• Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control practices.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and modify care plans as needed.

Qualifications:

• Hold valid BLS and ACLS certifications (as of 06/01/21).
• Possess a minimum of two years of experience in an acute care setting preferred.
• Have a recognized Biotherapy Certification.
• Demonstrate strong clinical skills in infusion therapy and patient monitoring.
• Exhibit excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
