\n- $200,000 to $250,000 Base Salary, negotiable dependent upon experience\n

\nPOSITION DESCRIPTION: \n
\nThe new physician will see patients in skilled nursing facilities and other long-term care settings.  Providers work autonomously in the field and are remotely supported by a robust clinical and administrative team.\n
\n
\nA low volume of patients are seen per day, allowing ample time to focus on all needs and to provide proper attention and support.\n
\n
\nThe duties of the role may include:\n
\n
\n- provide high-quality complex geriatric care\n
\n- ensure engagement with facility leadership, other providers, patients, and families\n
\n- supervise nurse practitioners and/or physician assistants\n
\n- audit documentation for each supervised provider on a monthly basis\n
\n- collaborate with other healthcare providers as needed\n
\n- participate in the on-call schedule\n
\n- attend trainings and meetings as required\n
\n
\nThe new physician will also focus on quality outcomes including, but not limited to:\n
\n
\n- care path compliance\n
\n- prevention of avoidable transfers\n
\n- decrease in polypharmacy\n
\n- costs of care\n
\n
\nThe practice uses an EHR on a mobile-based platform.\n
\n
\n
\n
\nREQUIREMENTS:\n
\n- Tennessee medical license\n
\n- DEA\n
\n- Board Certification, relevant field (Internal / Family Medicine, Geriatrics, etc.)\n
\n- experience supervising APPs\n
\n- 3+ years relevant clinical practice experience\n
\n
