Connecticut Regional Pain Specialists, (CRPS) located in Hamden, Connecticut, focuses on comprehensive management of various chronic pain conditions incorporating interventional pain management procedures as well as medical management as indicated.

CRPS is offering an exciting opportunity for an APRN/Nurse Practitioner interested in working in interventional pain management. Experience is helpful but not required. CRPS - Nurse Practitioner Duties and Responsibilities

Work independently in an office-based setting. Order diagnostic tests to identify and assess patient's health care needs. Prescribe medication when appropriate.

Record physical findings utilizing electronic medical record systems. To Formulate a comprehensive plan of care based on the patient's condition and following the physician's plan of treatment.

Prescribe or recommend treatment plans including physical therapy, psychotherapy, massage therapy and related interventional pain management procedures.

Comply with Practice protocol and processes providing feedback to physicians to identify needs and/or challenges to ensure that patients are being given the best possible medical care.

Ability to prioritize and respond to multiple simultaneous requests.

Ability to communicate with patients and families.
