Journeyman Technician

Job Description Are you an ASE Journeyman Certified Technician looking for the great compensation, benefits, and career growth in the industry? Location: Niles, IL Job Type: Full-Time (5-Day Work Week) Pay: $46–$50 per booked hour (based on ASE certifications and manufacturer training) No Kia/Hyundai Certifications? No Problem. As long as you have your ASE certifications, we provide paid training and manufacture certifications! Benefits: Company-paid health insurance Company-paid ASE certifications Company-paid manufacturer training and travel Company-paid tool insurance 401(k) retirement plan Competitive paid time off (PTO) Company-provided uniforms, including gloves Employee discounts on automotive parts and vehicle purchases Ability to work on personal or family vehicles after hours Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair vehicles to manufacturer specifications, including brake and hydraulic systems, exhaust, fuel and ignition systems, electrical systems, suspension, alignment, air conditioning, and onboard computer systems Perform advanced diagnostics and complete repairs accurately and efficiently Utilize Kia/Hyundai diagnostic tools and follow factory repair procedures Communicate technical diagnoses and recommended repairs clearly to service advisors and customers Qualifications Journeyman Technician status or higher required Strong diagnostic and repair experience across all major vehicle systems ASE certifications Experience using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and software Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Good communication skills and a positive, team-oriented attitude Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Additional Information All your information will be kept confidential according to EEO guidelines.
