Job Description

The successful applicant will become part of the Political Science Department adjunct pool and may have opportunities to teach additional courses in this and/or other areas depending on department needs.

Required Qualifications

All faculty must have earned at least a Master's degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching, with 18 credit hours of coursework related to the course(s) being taught.

Preferred Qualifications:

Preference will be given to applicants able to teach Public Administration and Public Policy.

If the applicant's official transcripts are on file in the Office of the Provost, a statement indicating such, must be submitted in lieu of the documents with the application. Employment Conditions: Adjunct faculty must hold an advanced degree or equivalent credentials based on experience consistent with accreditation criteria of the discipline and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). All faculty must have earned at least a Master's degree in the field/discipline in which they are teaching, with 18 credit hours of coursework related to the course(s) being taught.
