HR Manager

Overview Location: Sandston, Virginia, United States Requisition Number: 44931 Bunge has an exciting opportunity available for HR Manager. Most importantly, we live our values: Act as One Team by fostering inclusion, collaboration, and respect Drive for Excellence by being agile, innovative and efficient Do What’s Right by acting safely, ethically, and sustainably Responsibilities Partner with facility management and, at the direction of the regional human resources manager, perform professional level HR work to develop, implement, and administer human resources policies, programs and procedures. Maintain a positive employee relations environment with the assigned facilities. Maximize productivity, improve employee morale, ensure compliance with Bunge policies and procedures, promote core values and capabilities, and minimize legal risks by ensuring compliance with applicable laws and regulations. Provide regional and facility leaders with the full range of HR services including policy and procedure implementation; collective bargaining agreement administration and interpretation; development of corrective action for violations; and coaching, training and development of local management and facility personnel. Advise business leaders and HR management regarding staffing levels, local market conditions, pay, hiring, and strategic planning needs. Assist in responding to grievances, mediations, arbitrations, litigation and other legal affairs; participate in local labor/management meetings. Engage in workforce planning, maintain awareness of workforce demographics and operational requirements, and develop strategies to address gaps or surpluses. Maintain a pulse on employee concerns and engagement; develop and implement strategies to foster a positive work environment. Conduct investigations related to policy violations or misconduct as directed by Legal and senior HR management. Assist management teams in implementing the full range of employee performance management and development programs and initiatives. Support communication programs and productivity/efficiency initiatives as directed. Provide coaching or management of local HR resources as needed. May perform responsibilities related to plant operations (safety, property management, office administration, and supervision of support functions). Supports HR activities for 200+ employees. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business or related field (or equivalent of Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related experience) strongly preferred 5–7 years of related HR experience, manufacturing experience preferred Ability to maintain objectivity and discretion with confidential information Experience in a matrix reporting structure preferred Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with payroll and HRIS systems Demonstrated ability to influence without authority Exceptional customer service and team-building skills Excellent communication and presentation skills across organizational levels Experience with ADA, FMLA, EEOC and AAP; MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency Familiarity with ADP, HR and Payroll systems a plus Self-starter with ability to work within a team environment About Bunge At Bunge (NYSE: BG), our purpose is to connect farmers to consumers to deliver essential food, feed and fuel to the world.
