We are looking to hire Physical Therapists to conduct home evaluations for Healthfirst members around New York City. The Physical Therapist will be responsible for completing evaluations and treatment status updates. The assigned Physical Therapist will be responsible for completing a home safety checklist to prevent falls, in addition to determining current states of function.

Responsibilities of the Physical Therapist

• Provides evaluation and treatments in accordance with professional standards of practice.
• Observe precautions related to infection control and resident/patient privacy and dignity.
• Completes all documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with departmental, regulatory, and payor standards.
• Assists in maintaining the safe operation of all equipment for the safety of patients.
• Accurately integrates treatment knowledge into the daily education of patients and caregivers

Requirements of the Physical Therapist

• Registered Physical Therapist with current registration to practice in New York State.
• Degree from an approved/accredited program/school for Physical Therapy
• Professional pediatric care experience.
• The successful candidate will also recommend treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient.

Starting rate for this position is $60.00+ per unit.
