Join West Melbourne Health & Rehabilitation Center as a Patient Care Assistant (PCA) and take the first step toward a rewarding career in healthcare. As a PCA, you'll work alongside our nursing team, provide compassionate care to residents, and gain valuable hands-on experience while training to become a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

Important: The CNA training program requires daytime availability during the training period . Once training is completed and CNA certification is obtained, additional scheduling opportunities may be available based on facility needs.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living, including meals, mobility, positioning, and personal care
• Help maintain resident comfort and well-being
• Record vital signs, intake, and output as directed
• Answer call lights and respond to resident requests
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the nursing team
• Transport residents throughout the facility as needed

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Compassionate, dependable, and team-oriented
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply
• Willingness to obtain CNA certification through our employer-sponsored training program
