RN Long Term Care (LTC) - FT Days

Position Summary The Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for utilizing the nursing process (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes/planning, implementation, and evaluation) to provide individualized nursing care to residents. The role collaborates with residents, families, and interdisciplinary colleagues to plan, implement, and evaluate care. Responsibilities Provide individual and team-based nursing care in a skilled nursing or long‑term care setting. Conduct resident assessments and develop care plans based on age- and population-specific standards. Coordinate care, educate residents, and perform nursing interventions for all phases of preventive care, maintenance, diagnosis, and treatment. Serve as charge nurse when required, delegating appropriate tasks to licensed and unlicensed personnel within job descriptions and competency levels. Ensure safe and reliable administration of resident care and resolve care and service concerns. Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act, state administrative rules, and nursing practice standards, including the American Nurses Association code of ethics. Qualifications Graduated from a nationally accredited nursing program (preferred). Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred. Current, unencumbered RN license in the state of practice (or multistate licensure via the Nurse Licensure Compact). Maintains required competencies and certifications for the assigned clinical setting.
