Senior Construction Estimator

Job Description – Full-time. Location: Brooklyn, NY. About Us We're a growing construction company seeking an experienced Senior Construction Estimator to join our team. You'll leverage your expertise in cost estimation, project management, and scope development to drive successful project delivery. Responsibilities Prepare and review detailed cost estimates for complex construction projects Write, interpret, and manage project scopes with clients and stakeholders Host and lead meetings with design professionals (architects, engineers, consultants) to develop project-specific scope and budgets Conduct interviews with design professionals and subcontractors to qualify them for project scope Assess technical capabilities, experience, and fit for project requirements Draft and modify agreements, contracts, and scopes of work for executable hiring documents Manage project timelines, budgets, and quality standards Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure alignment Develop and implement process improvements for estimating and project management Mentor junior estimators and project managers Analyze project bids and propose adjustments as needed Requirements 5+ years of construction estimation and project management experience Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Proven track record of successful project delivery Expertise in construction cost estimation software (e.g., Procore, PlanSwift) Excellent written and verbal communication skills for scope development, stakeholder management, and contracts Strong analytical, leadership, and meeting facilitation skills Preferred Certified Construction Estimator (CCE) or Certified Professional Construction Manager (CPCM) certification Experience with commercial or industrial construction projects Familiarity with contract drafting and AIA documents What We Offer Competitive salary ($120,000 - $150,000/year) based on experience Comprehensive benefits package Opportunities for growth and professional development Collaborative and dynamic work environment If you're a detail-oriented, organized, and communicative professional with a passion for construction, we'd love to hear from you!
