Project Surveyor

We are currently seeking an experienced Project Surveyor in New York, NY covering the five boroughs (Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, Bronx, and Staten Island) with flexibility to cover some projects in Northern New Jersey. This position is an office position, although requires some field visits on occasion. The candidate will typically report to a Project Manager or director of surveying. The candidate must be experienced in field and office surveying and must possess a professional surveying license or be able to obtain licensure within 1 year of being hired. Responsibilities Perform and support field and office surveying activities for projects in the New York City area (and select projects in Northern New Jersey). Coordinate with project team, including Project Manager and Director of Surveying, to meet project objectives and schedules. Prepare survey documents, perform data collection, and ensure quality control in both field and office environments. Assist with project setup, calculations, and data management as part of surveying tasks. Qualifications Professional surveying license or the ability to obtain licensure within 1 year of hire. Experience in both field and office surveying. Location in New York, NY with the ability to cover the five boroughs and occasional projects in Northern New Jersey.
