job summary:
Right of way Permitting Specialist needed in Morristown NJ to join an Engineering and Construction firm specialized in Transmission line construction. In this role you will primarily work on permitting related to railroad and turnpike crossings. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in a related role and be able to create professional relationships with owners, municipalities and railroad organizations

responsibilities:

• Coordinate with project managers, design engineers, environmental consultants, GIS mapping specialists, and real estate coordinators to prepare permit applications for railroad permitting to facilitate construction impacts related to transmission line and substation expansion projects

• Complete and submit permit applications, and pursue application through timeframe until permit is issued or authorized

• Obtain permitting authorizations for all crossings related to linear transmission line projects, including but not limited to: railroad crossings and turnpike crossings

• Obtain entry and access permits
