Certifications: Serv Safe practices preferred.
Must-Have: Considerable working knowledge of food preparation and kitchen equipment.
Description:
The Healthcare Food Service Worker is responsible for the preparation, delivery, and retrieval of patient trays.
This role includes the accurate setup and delivery of patient meals to ensure quality service to patients for optimum health.
The position may also involve working in retail areas as a Food Server or Cashier.
Responsibilities include dishwasher duties, both automatic and manual cleaning of pots, dishes, and utensils.
Floor cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping are also included.
Trash and cardboard removal will be a part of the daily duties.
Additional tasks may be assigned by the supervisor.
Candidates must live more than 100 miles away and be available Monday through Friday, from 6 AM to 2:30 PM.
Ability to work and cooperate with members of the staff is essential.
Individuals must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide service appropriate to the age of the patients served.
