Dialysis RN

Description Tri-State Dialysis is a growing company based in Dubuque Iowa with locations in Dubuque IA, Manchester IA, Platteville WI and Richland Center WI. We are seeking a full-time Dialysis RN or LPN to join our team at our Dubuque, IA location. This position provides professional nursing care for patients in the dialysis unit and/or in the hospital. This position will work 3-4 days per week in clinic, every other Saturday. Complete nursing portion of the Comprehensive Interdisciplinary Patient Assessment and Plan of Care (POC) on assigned patients according to established timeline Identify the patient problem and determine the proper intervention, communicate to Unit Coordinator/Unit Manager/Director of Dialysis of all patient psychological or physiological adverse reactions, problems or other pertinent information Keep patients and dialysis equipment under constant observation during treatment, evaluate patients throughout, and properly operating equipment Review patient’s records, clinician orders and patient’s condition, and observe patients for changes in condition Safely administer prescribed medications and treatments and taking appropriate action based on patient’s response Qualifications: Must be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing for Registered Nurses Minimum one year of professional nursing experience preferred; Medical/surgical, hospital, chronic illness, critical care and/or community health experience preferred Must be a licensed RN with an active license to practice in the state of Iowa and Wisconsin; BSN preferred Basic Life Support (BLS)/Advanced Cardiac Life support (ACLS) Certification Mandatory Reporter Certification, will validate advanced specialized knowledge through certification by the appropriate organization Valid Driver’s License and proof of insurance #J-18808-Ljbffr T E C Industrial Inc
