Job Summary


We are seeking a dependable and self-motivated Facility Maintenance & Janitorial Technician to help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and overall upkeep of our facility and surrounding grounds. The ideal candidate will have previous janitorial and grounds maintenance experience, be able to work independently with minimal supervision, and take pride in keeping the property clean, safe, and well-maintained.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform daily janitorial cleaning of offices, breakrooms, kitchen areas, and restrooms.
• Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum, and sanitize designated areas.
• Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste properly.
• Maintain the exterior appearance of the property by mowing, weed eating, picking up litter, and performing general groundskeeping duties.
• Complete basic painting projects and minor facility repairs as needed.
• Assist with light maintenance tasks and support the maintenance department.
• Pick up parts, supplies, and materials from local vendors as needed using a personal vehicle.
• Report maintenance concerns or safety issues to management.
• Follow all company safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications

• Previous janitorial and grounds maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize daily tasks with minimal supervision.
• A valid driver's license is required.
• Candidates must have reliable transportation and be willing and able to use their personal vehicle for occasional local parts and supply runs. This is a requirement for the position.
• Basic knowledge of painting and minor maintenance repairs.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, stoop, and work both indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic required.
