As the Physical Therapist Assistant you will provide treatment, exercise instruction and patient education aimed at improving the well‑being of each patient while following the established plan of care. Primary Responsibilities Follow all state specific laws governing the provision of physical therapy in home care. Perform only those procedures that you are qualified and trained to perform, as defined by the supervising PT. Observe, record, and report the patient’s response to treatment and changes in condition to the supervising PT, nurse supervisor, and/or physician. Coordinate care with other healthcare team members as appropriate. Instruct patients, families, caregivers and other team members in therapeutic activities within the scope of your role. Required Qualifications Current license, registration or certification to assist in the practice of physical therapy in your state of practice. Current CPR certification. Current driver’s license, vehicle insurance and access to a reliable vehicle, or public transportation. Ability to function in any home setting, regardless of the client’s age, race, creed, color, sex, disability or financial condition. Preferred Qualifications Ability to perform physical tasks required for patient care, including lifting, transferring and assisting with mobility. Compensation and Benefits The hourly pay for this role ranges from $28.00 to $42.00 per hour based on full‑time employment.
