COTA - Travel Contract

We‘re hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for a travel contract role at a skilled nursing facility in Normal, IL. Under the guidance of a licensed Occupational Therapist, you will help patients regain the skills they need for everyday life. Minimum Requirements
* Associate degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited college.
* Active Illinois COTA license or ability to obtain state licensure prior to start of assignment.
* BLS certification from AHA or ARC may be required prior to start.
* Experience working in skilled nursing facilities preferred.
* Experience providing restorative and daily living skills training for geriatric or post-acute populations preferred.
* Ability to follow treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed OT and document in electronic medical records.
Assignment Details
* Facility Type: Skilled Nursing Facility.
* Shift Name: Days.
* Shift Details: Days 08:30-16:30.
* Work Pattern: Five 8-hour shifts per week.
* Start: ASAP.
* Contract Length: 13 weeks.
