Operations Lead - Soho

OVERVIEW
The Operations Lead is a critical member of the store leadership team, responsible for driving and coaching to profitability and efficiency. The lead works closely with the Operations & Visual Manager to initiate, delegate work, and provide feedback to achieve optimal results supporting total store operations.OPERATIONS LEADER
Lead and execute inventory management processes, focusing on maximizing inventory accuracy and reducing shrink. Investigate and root cause inventory accuracy issues, partnering with the General Manager to address process or system gaps. Manage execution of key operational functions including shipment, receiving and processing, reverse transfers, sales floor recovery, in‑day floor replenishment, floor set updates, and supply management. Champion strong visual standards for the sales floor. Support a safe work environment and efficient operation through robust stockroom standards and processes.BUSINESS LEADER
Partner with the Operations & Visual Manager to manage reporting, budgets, expenses, inventory control, supplies, vendor relationships, technology, and facilities. Demonstrate strong business acumen by leveraging metrics to support business‑driving strategies. Move dynamically on the retail floor to assess and fulfill the needs of the business, team, and guests. Lead by example and inspire staff in daily operations and guest experience. Directly oversee the Operations Associates; responsible for recruitment, development, and performance evaluation using company tools.PEOPLE LEADER

Collaborate with Visual Lead and Sales & Service Lead to ensure cross‑functional training and business execution. Execute company‑level operations‑focused directives, projects, and initiatives in partnership with the Operations & Visual Manager.OPERATIONS LEAD QUALIFICATIONS
2+ years of prior experience in a client‑centric, sales environment. Proven leadership capabilities with excellent decision‑making skills. Values feedback, receptive to receiving feedback, and eager to provide it. High energy, upbeat, and enthusiastic, integrating fun and work. Self‑motivated with a desire to achieve results and excel individually and as a team. Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills. Aligns with and embodies ALO’s guiding principles. Job Level: Associate.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The Lead role is full‑time (32–40 hours per week). Base pay ranges from $24.00–$28.00 per hour (New York, NY). Leads are eligible for the Company’s Monthly Store Incentive bonus program, which may increase total compensation. Additional rewards include: Clothing allowance.
