Job Title: Shop Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Shop Technician to join our team. The role involves processing, coating, and painting repaired aircraft parts. This is a full-time position with working hours from Monday to Friday, 7:30 am to 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Process, coat, and paint repaired aircraft parts.
• Perform cleaning, masking, and blasting of parts.
• Utilize hand tools and mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot issues.
• Ensure all tasks are performed safely using provided PPE.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency with hand tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Understanding of blueprints.
• Knowledge of aviation and aircraft parts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role is beneficial.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

Work Environment

The work environment is a shop setting where safety is prioritized. Employees are provided with personal protective equipment (PPE) and work from 7:30 am to 4:30 pm, Monday to Friday. The role involves hands-on tasks with aircraft parts, utilizing various tools and equipment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Oklahoma City, OK.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $16.00 - $18.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
