The selected candidate will receive a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, with opportunities for additional bonuses.

Work Environment\n

This role offers a unique opportunity to work remotely, facilitating flexibility while allowing you to maintain a work-life balance. While most sessions will take place between Monday and Friday, from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM, occasional evening hours may be required based on client appointments. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct thorough and compassionate assessments to evaluate clients' mental health and substance use disorders, ensuring accurate identification of co-occurring conditions.

  • Collaborate with clients to design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions addressing both mental health and substance use needs.

  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions focused on developing clients' coping skills, emotional regulation techniques, and relapse prevention strategies tailored to their unique situations.

  • Engage in regular substance use monitoring while using motivational interviewing techniques to empower clients in their recovery journey.

  • Educate clients and their families about the interconnections between mental health and substance use disorders, instilling the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

  • Document treatment progress and interventions in a timely and ethical manner, ensuring compliance with legal and professional standards.
  • \n
  • Participate actively in case conferences, team meetings, and professional development training to enhance skills and stay updated on the latest practices in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will involve working with a diverse client population, including individuals experiencing dual diagnoses of mental health and substance use disorders. You will help guide these individuals on their paths toward recovery, providing them with the necessary tools and support to achieve sustainable mental health and well-being.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.
  • \n
  • Proficiency in applying evidence-based therapies specific to co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills necessary for effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience, preferably in settings focused on integrated care for co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and technologies that enhance remote therapy delivery.
