Oncology Physician

BJC Healthcare is seeking a dedicated Medical/Oncology Specialist to join our expert team of healthcare professionals in delivering top-notch medical care with a specialization in oncology at our state-of-the-art facilities. Our non-profit organization prioritizes patient-centered care in a supportive and innovative environment. This role provides you with the opportunity to contribute to life‑saving treatments and patient recovery across our multiple hospitals and care centers. As a Medical/Oncology Specialist, you will manage patient care, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and drive advancements in cancer treatment protocols.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat patients with cancer.
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the oncology team.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as needed.
- Participate in research and clinical trials to advance oncological practices.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment options and disease management.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and safety standards.
- Strong clinical skills in oncology and internal medicine.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
- Experience with electronic health records (EHR).
- Proficient in current medical technologies and treatment practices.
