About the Position

TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg RN in Idaho Falls, Idaho, 83404!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Medical-Surgical Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: RN License Certifications: BLS Must-Have: Exceptional communication skills Time management skills Medication safety (minimum of 98% of all medications safely scanned and administered) Description: The unit has 39 beds and 60 staff members. Day shift includes 1 charge RN, 7 RNs, 3 CNAs, and 1 unit secretary. Night shift includes 1 charge RN, 6 RNs, and 2 CNAs. Patient ratios are 1:5 on day shift and 1:6 on night shift. Typical equipment includes Alaris IV pumps, Pyxis, Arjo lifts, and Novastat. Computers are available in every room. The electronic medical record system is Meditech. Candidates should be friendly and team-oriented. Ability to make strong personal connections is essential. Candidates with chemotherapy certification are preferred. Flexibility to work days or nights is advantageous. Two weekends per month are required, and on-call shifts are only needed if there is low volume.
