To enhance coding accuracy and physician education, a remote contract Physician Coding Educator will deliver targeted training, conduct chart reviews and coding audits, and analyze documentation across ASC, surgical, and outpatient settings. Key responsibilities Deliver education to physicians and coding staff, translating audit findings into actionable training Conduct chart reviews and coding audits to identify documentation gaps and improve compliance Analyze coding trends and variances, providing feedback to leadership for documentation improvement initiatives Required qualifications CPC (AAPC) or CCS or CCS-P (AHIMA) certification required 3+ years of experience in Professional Fee coding across physician, ASC, surgical, or outpatient settings Experience in delivering 1:1 and group training to physicians Proficiency in conducting chart reviews and validating documentation accuracy Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally
