Role Description The Marketing Manager is a full‑time, on‑site role based in Lakewood Ranch, FL. This position is responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies that support occupancy goals, enhance property visibility, and strengthen SMG’s brand across digital and traditional channels. Day‑to‑day tasks include planning and managing advertising campaigns, overseeing social media and online listings, coordinating promotional events and resident engagement initiatives, and producing marketing materials such as brochures, email communications, and website content. The Marketing Manager will analyze market trends and property performance data, track campaign results, and adjust strategies to meet leasing and investment objectives. This role also collaborates closely with property management, leasing teams, and ownership to ensure consistent messaging and effective communication with residents, prospects, and investors. Qualifications Demonstrated experience in marketing strategy development, campaign planning, and brand positioning, ideally within real estate or property management. Proficiency in digital marketing practices, including social media management, online advertising, and website content oversight. Strong skills in copywriting, content creation, and basic graphic design or coordination with creative resources. Ability to analyze marketing metrics, market research, and occupancy data to inform decision‑making and optimize campaigns. Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship‑building skills with internal teams and external partners. Solid organizational and project management abilities, with attention to detail and the capacity to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Familiarity with property management or real estate operations, including understanding of resident and investor expectations, is highly beneficial. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
