RN - TELE

Registered Nurse - Medical/Surgical Telemetry

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift: 3x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)

The registered nurse will provide care in a unit that primarily handles a mix of medical-surgical telemetry and progressive care unit (PCU) patients. The nurse will be responsible for managing patient care, supporting treatment plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor patient status and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and perform treatments as ordered.
• Provide patient and family education regarding health conditions and discharge plans.
• Maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
• Document all nursing assessments, interventions, and outcomes in the electronic health record.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience in a medical-surgical telemetry setting.
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact Nursing License.
• Cerner charting system experience preferred.
• Charge nurse experience is preferred.
