Perry’s is a fast-paced, high-energy restaurant serving a loyal neighborhood following as well as new guests discovering our food and hospitality.

We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and organized Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate takes pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and efficient kitchen and understands the importance of teamwork in a busy restaurant environment.

• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dishwashing station and surrounding kitchen areas.

• Operate and maintain commercial dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently.

• Sweep, mop, and clean kitchen floors, work surfaces, and equipment.

• Remove trash, recycling, and cardboard and maintain designated disposal areas.

• Assist with receiving and organizing deliveries and kitchen supplies.

• Support kitchen staff with basic cleaning, organization, and other tasks as needed.

• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

• Keep the dishwashing area stocked with necessary cleaning supplies.

• Assist with opening and closing kitchen cleaning duties.

• Previous restaurant dishwashing or kitchen experience preferred but not required.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen.

• Strong work ethic, reliability, punctuality, and attention to detail.

• Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform physically demanding tasks.

• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as scheduled.

• Ability to work cooperatively with chefs, cooks, and other team members.

• Ability to communicate effectively in English to understand kitchen instructions, coordinate with team members, and follow food safety and sanitation procedures. Spanish is a plus.
